MAX BABB
Born in Kent, Max grew up with music learning piano, saxophone and guitar, but singing has always been at the core of his musical journey. Max eventually flew the nest and made roots in Surrey where he is currently completing his BA (Hons) degree, at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford. Under the tuition of talented musicians such as Helena May (Redtenbacher's Funkestra, Kim Appleby), Amy Walton (The Belladonna Brigade, Bella and The Bourbon Boys) and Jono McNeil (The Voice UK Vocal coach) Max has developed his skills as a vocalist/musician and moved further down the path of musical discovery.

Max's influences from the Soul and R&B sides of music have shaped him as an artist, helping him to develop a smooth and warm toned voice which is well paired with his relaxed and welcoming stage presence. Introducing his jazz influences to his music makes for a very interesting performance.
Max Babb has experience both as a front man and as a backing vocalist, knowing how to take command of a stage as well as blend seamlessly with others to compliment anothers sound.
Along with his performance abilities, Max is well versed in vocal technique and is able to transfer his skills onto others through teaching. Max also takes great interest in rearranging songs to best fit his style. He also takes great joy in being able to direct band members in his projects and is able to effectively manage fellow musicians to accurately produce is musical visions.
